In November 2005, selected by Ministry of Health as one of the best three pharmacists in the Sultanate of Oman.

IHPA (Indian Hospital Pharmacists Association) Award for thesis on Present and Future of Hospital Pharmacy, 1980 & 1981.

Heading up the Pharmacy Team, Mr. Kini has been with Muscat Private Hospital since 2003, following more than 20 years of professional experience in Oman in chief pharmaceutical positions. Prior to this, Mr. Kini was based in India with five years as a chemist in a Drug Manufacturing company followed by six years as Chief Pharmacist in Kasturba Medical College Hospital, Manipal.
