A graduate from Madras University, India with initial post graduate training from the prestigious Madras Medical College, Madras India, and has subsequent post graduate training from various hospitals in the British Isles. A member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK, Dr Arif Jahan has 23 years of extensive clinical and teaching experience in India, British Isles and Saudi Arabia.

Prior to joining MPH, Dr Arif Jahan was working as Consultant Obstetrician / Gynaecologist at Tertiary level Armed Forces Hospital in Saudi Arabia. In addition to vast experience spanning almost 23 years in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr Arif Jahan has special interest in high risk obstetrics, operative gynaecology and Gynaec endoscopic procedures namely Laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and Colposcopy.

Dr. Pritima Kaushik

Dr. Pritima Kaushik has trained and worked in the United Kingdom in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She obtained Membership in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), worked at the St Georges Teaching Hospital London and was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Collage in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (FRCOG) in London. Dr Pritima has worked as a Consultant, Senior Consultant and Head of the Department in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at various posts in the UK and the Middle East. She has gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of Gynaecological and Obstetrical conditions before coming to Oman to join Muscat Private Hospital. Her particular areas of interest and experience are Gynaecological surgery, complications of early pregnancy, perimenopausal issues and well woman screening.

Dr. Usha Sharma

Working as a Senior Consultant in Oman. Having international experience in Gynaecology and Obstetrics for more than 20 years. Worked in different hospitals in India, United Kingdom, Bahrain and now in Oman. Special interest in Gynaecological, Oncology, Colposcopy and Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy.

Dr. Anita Zutshi,

Dr. Anita graduated from The Medical University in India and obtained a Gold Medal with top honors. She obtained her postgraduate degree in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from India. She completed her Membership Examination of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and subsequently was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (FRCOG), London.

 Dr. Anita has over 25 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and she also has special expertise in Obstetrics Ultrasound (3D/4D Ultrasound & Doppler Ultrasound), Fetal Medicine and Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery.  She has attended various training courses in India, UK, and the USA in Fetal Medicine and Gynaecology Endoscopy (including Diploma course at the International Fetal Medicine Foundation), Obstetric Ultrasound and Gynaecological Endoscopic surgery (Stanford University Endoscopy Center). She has acquired a certificate of competence in Ultrasound Examination at 11 – 14 weeks from ‘The Fetal Medicine Foundation.

The Gynaecological team provides an excellent comprehensive check-up, contraceptive advice and fertility programme which is complemented  by a wide range of relevant special investigations.
