Biography:
Dr. Najib AlRawahi is a highly acclaimed Interventional Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. He is the first doctor in Oman to specialize in Heart Rhythm and has been serving the nation for the past decade.
A graduate of Sultan Qaboos University in Oman, Dr. Najib completed his full fellowship in Invasive Adult Cardiac Electrophysiology at the prestigious Ottawa Heart Institute. After this, he returned to Oman and has since been heading the only Arrhythmia Unit in the nation at the National Heart Center.
Dr. Najib is an expert in cardiac arrhythmic device implantation and complex arrhythmia ablation using 3D mapping. His passion for helping people with heart issues shines through his work and he has made contributions to the field of cardiac electrophysiology. He has developed new techniques and protocols which are currently used at the National Heart Center.
Dr. Najib is a regular contributor to international conferences and symposiums and is often invited as a keynote speaker. He is also an author of several published papers in renowned medical journals. His commitment to his work has earned him several awards and recognitions, including the prestigious “Best Cardiologist in Oman” award in 2016.
