Biography
Dr. Zainab Ali graduated from Dow University of Health and Medical Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1998. She then pursued her career as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist in 1999 and attained her postgraduate degree in 2005. Dr. Zainab joined Fatimiyah Hospital (private) in 2007 as a Chief Medical Officer and Consultant Ob/Gy. She served there as stated above till 2015. Fatimiyah Hospital is a tertiary healthcare and training hospital
In 2010, she was accredited as a ‘Pioneer and Role Model’ by the hospital. She joined Muscat Private Hospital in 2015 as Specialist Ob/Gy and has attended numerous national and international conferences and seminars. She is currently also a focal point of the largest ongoing study on Maternal Near-Miss by Ministry of Health, Oman.
