Led by Prof. Ali Mashani, Sr Consultant, Neurosurgeon, the complicated surgery was the first of its kind to be performed in any private hospital in Oman.

Discussing the details of the procedure – Prof. Ali Al Mashani explained: “This case was complicated and such cases require intricate surgeries; hence, timely action was required to save the patient’s life. It was a prolonged surgery and technically challenging, but we are glad that we were able to conduct it with absolute precision and achieve the desired medical results. After the surgery, the patient was discharged with no medical complication and in good health.”
“For one year, my sister was suffering from headaches. We went to various child specialists in Morocco and she was diagnosed to have brain tumor and obstructed the cerebrospinal fluid. She did the shunt for her but they cannot able to remove the tumor. In December, we decided to visit Oman for her treatment. Here in Oman, we heard about Prof. Ali Al Mashani that he is Muscat Private Hospital. Fortunately, he was able to diagnose the problem after conducting the initials tests. He explained and assured us that my sister will be fine after the surgery and explained to us the surgery and potential risks . surgery done without any complications and I am very thankful to Dr Ali, his team and Muscat Private Hospital staff for taking such good care of my sister and making the entire experience at the hospital easy and comfortable for us”, commented Eman, the elder sister of the patient.
