Biography
Dr. Hema Tadamari completed her M.B.B.S. in 1990 and M.S. in General Surgery in 1995 from T.N. Medical College & B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, University of Bombay, followed by her D.N.B. in General Surgery in 1996. She has undergone extensive advanced training, including multiple international fellowships in minimally invasive surgery from leading centres in the USA, South Korea, and India. She holds prestigious certifications such as FIBC (Duke University, USA), FMAS, and SAGES‑accredited diplomas in basic and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
She has served in senior consultant and academic leadership roles across renowned institutions including Apollo Hospitals (Bangalore), Columbia Asia Hospitals (Bangalore), Starcare Hospital (Muscat), and K.E.M. Hospital (Mumbai), where she also headed surgical units. With over 30 years of surgical experience, she performs a wide range of open and laparoscopic procedures including benign breast, and abdominal surgeries. She has special interest in laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and other General Surgeris.
