Biography:

Dr. Nasser Al-Tamami is a highly qualified Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist and Head & Neck Surgeon with advanced subspecialty expertise in otology, neurotology, and lateral skull base surgery. He completed his prestigious fellowship training in Neurotology and Lateral Skull Base Surgery at the University of Montreal, Canada, following extensive residency training in France at the University of Claud Bernard Lyon I.

Dr. Al-Tamami has a significant experience in managing complex ear diseases, hearing loss rehabilitation, vertigo and balance disorders, Ménière’s disease, and skull base tumors. He is known for applying advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and highly advanced hearing-preserving procedures. He has a broad experience in cochlear implant and middle ear implants. In addition to that he has a large experience in the management pediatric adeno-tonsillar hypertrophy and hearing loss diseases along with part of general nasal surgeries. Dr. Al Tamami is actively member in Oman Medical Specialty Board and being working in Sultan Qaboos University Hospital involved in extensive medical education for junior medical students along with surgical training for junior and senior ENT residents. Dr Nasser has many papers published in a highly ranked medical and surgical journals and he is involved actively in clinical research at Oman Medical Specialty Board and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital.
