Biography:
Dr. M. Sadiq Lala is a senior consultant in Urology and Kidney transplantation at the Royal Hospital in Muscat. Dr. Lala has been working at Royal hospital since 1990. Since August 2003 we are fortunate to have Dr. Lala working as independent senior consultant at our MUSCAT PRIVATE HOSPITAL. Following his M.B.B.S., he went to U.K. where he obtained FRCS Ed (Fellow of Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh), U.K. He also obtained Diploma in Urology (D. Urol.) form University College London (UCL). He had urological training from major teaching hospitals, University of Galway Teaching Hospital, Ireland, Teaching Hospital of Royal college of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland and also from the Institute of Urology at London, U.K.

He has extensive experience in endoscopic (telescopic) urological surgery such as those dealing with enlarged prostates, bladder tumors and stone diseases of the kidney, ureter and bladder. He advises, investigates and treats cancer and infections of the prostate and is an expert in the management of urinary tract infection and urinary incontinence (urine leak) both in male and female patients. He also treats problems related to testes and penis. He has a broad range of experience in the treatment of male infertility & sperm retrieval, sexual problems like erection, ejaculation and lack of sexual drive.
