MPH opens round-the-clock Chest Pain Unit

Chest pain is an alarming health issue and needs immediate med­ical care to rule out further compli­cations. To provide quality and timely treatment to the residents in Oman, Muscat Private Hospital (MPH) opened a new state of the art 24/7 Chest Pain Unit last month, a press release said.

Dr. Mohammed Al Mukhaini, Senior Consultant Cardiologist at The Royal Hospital and MPH, Dr. Abdullah Al Riyami, Senior Consult­ ant cardiologist at MPH, Dr Salim Al Maskary, Senior Consultant pae­diatric cardiologist at The Royal Hospital, and Dr. Najib Al Rawahi, Senior Consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist at The Royal Hospital and MPH, graced the occasion as chief guests.

Dr. Amr Abdalla Hassan Senior Consultant interventional cardiolo­gist and head of Department of car­diology at MPH, and Dr. Abdel Khatab Abdel, consultant interven­tional cardiologist at MPH, addressed the media and elabora­ ted on the facility and the hospital’s effective management of patients coming with all types of chest pain. On the occasion, Subba Rao, hospital director of MPH, said, “Being the most trusted and com­plete tertiary care hospital, MPH is bound to offer the best quality healthcare to the residents of the sultanate at an affordable price.”
