Your Safety is Our Priority

Muscat Private Hospital is committed to providing safe, high-quality care to every patient and family member. We encourage patients, visitors, and staff to speak up if they have concerns about patient safety, quality of care, or hospital services.

Raising a concern helps us improve care and maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

When Should You Report a Concern?

You may report a concern or complaint if you experience or observe:

  • Patient safety risks or unsafe practices.
  • Quality of care concerns.
  • Communication issues.
  • Staff behavior or professionalism concerns.
  • Infection control or cleanliness issues.
  • Delays in care or treatment concerns.

You do not need to fear retaliation for reporting a concern. All reports are treated confidentially and respectfully.

How to Share Your Concern

We encourage patients and families to first share concerns directly with our hospital team so we can address them promptly.

However, if you feel your concern has not been adequately addressed, you may also submit a complaint to external organizations.

Submit a Complaint to MPH Hospital Patient Relations

You can submit a complaint or concern directly to MPH Hospital’s Patient Relations / Quality Office for review and follow-up.

What Happens After You Submit a Concern?

  • Your concern will be reviewed by the appropriate patient safety or quality team.
  • Information is handled confidentially.
  • Feedback may be used to improve hospital systems and patient care.
  • Reporting a concern will not affect your care or treatment.

Submit a Complaint Externally

Patients and families may submit patient safety or quality of care concerns directly to Joint Commission International (JCI). JCI reviews concerns related to accredited healthcare organizations.

If Muscat Private Hospital  team is not able to resolve your complaint satisfactorily, you may submit your concern directly to Joint Commission International (JCI) by mail or other available channels.
