Hematology

The Hematology department at MPH has the capability to diagnose and treat hematological disorders guided by the most recent clinical guidelines with the service of the finest and most well-experienced doctors and medical specialists. It offers a full range of standard and innovative hematology treatments. The department also offers hemato-pathology experts and a laboratory that provides prompt test results.

Services include chemotherapy, targeted therapy, IV iron therapy, inpatient care of all hematology admissions, outpatient infusion center, Hematology Clinic which focuses on providing quality care and ongoing treatment services to patients with blood disorders, diagnosing and treating patients with different blood disorders. This includes thorough clinical evaluation and laboratory work.

Some of the other procedures and services conducted by the department include: bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy, lumbar puncture and administering intrathecal chemotherapy, consultative services, diagnostic services, blood transfusions, iron and clotting factor infusions for a range of blood disorders, plasma exchange, and other specialized testing.
