MPH’s pathology laboratory is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is led by full time qualified and highly competent pathologists allowing timely consultations on laboratory results. The laboratory is staffed by a multinational team of trained and highly competent specialists, and is a trusted provider for a broad range of high-quality testing with rapid turnaround time. The services proved are: Histopathology, Cytopathology, Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Serology, Haematology, Microbiology, Clinical Pathology, and Blood Transfusion Services. The Laboratory is fully equipped with the latest analytical systems.

The MPH laboratory is one of the few centres in Oman that perform testing for Vitamin D. It also has an automated Histopathology and Cytopathology facility which allows for rapid processing of tissue and cytology specimens, including Liquid Based Cytology. Automated Blood culture system enables early detection and treatment.
