BIOGRAPHY

  • Earned medical degree (BSc & MD) at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Oman (2009).
  • Joined Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) for internal medicine program training (Internal Medicine Specialty Certificate) and graduate in 2014.
  • Awarded membership certificate (MRCP UK) from Royal College of Physician (2015) and is being active RCP collegiate member (London/ Edinburgh/ Glasgow) since then.
  • Completed two years adult rheumatology fellowship program (ICFP) under Royal College of Physician in Ireland (RCPI) in July 2018 within which he worked in St. Vincent’s University Hospital/UCD, Dublin, Ireland
  • Following advance training, was appointed as Consultant (Internal Medicine & Rheumatology) at Ministry of Health, Al Nahdha Hospital/ Directorate General of Khoula Hospital, Muscat, Oman which provide a regional rheumatology service for Muscat region in Oman.
  • Developed clinical interest in osteoporosis management and MSK ultrasonography. Awarded Certified Clinical Densitometrist certificate (CCD) in 2019 and being active member of International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). Gained EULAR certification in MSK ultrasonography.
  • Completed post graduate diploma certificate rheumatology (PGDip) from South Wales University (UK) in 2018.
  • Developed interest in medical education and leadership & Management and awarded post graduate certificate in medical education (PGCME) from Cardiff University, UK, 2019 & Post graduate certificate in Leadership & Management (PGCert) from Derby University, UK, 2019.
  • Nominated as Fellow of Royal College of Physician Glasgow (FRCP Glasgow) in 2019.
  • Awarded certificate of ‘Fellow’ of High Education Academy (FHEA), UK, 2019.
  • Awarded certificate of ‘Member’ of The Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd), UK, 2020.
  • Obtained International ‘Fellow’ of American College of Rheumatology (FACR), 2020.
  • Nominated as Fellow of Royal College of Physician of Ireland in 2021.
  • Nominated as Fellow of Royal College of Physician Edinburgh (FRCP Edin) in 2021.
  • Awarded certificate of ‘Fellow’ of American College of Physician (FACP) in 2022.
  • Nominated as Fellow of Royal College of Physician London (FRCP London) in 2022.
  • Has few publications in various rheumatological conditions (e.g Behcet’s disease, IGG4-related disease, and other connective tissue diseases).
