Dr. Askar Kukkadi is a highly experienced Consultant Pediatrician in Muscat, Oman, with over 25 years of expertise in pediatric medicine, child health, newborn care, adolescent medicine, and the management of acute and chronic childhood illnesses. He is widely recognized for his compassionate, family-centered approach and commitment to delivering evidence-based pediatric care.

After completing his medical education and pediatric specialization in India, Dr. Askar pursued advanced training and clinical practice in the United Kingdom, where he worked for more than a decade in leading healthcare institutions. His extensive international experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of pediatric healthcare across diverse populations and healthcare systems.

Since moving to Oman in 2009, Dr. Askar has earned the trust of families throughout the country by providing personalized care for infants, children, and adolescents up to 16 years of age. Dr. Askar completed his undergraduate and postgraduate medical training in India before moving to the United Kingdom, where he spent more than 10 years practicing pediatric medicine. During his time in the UK, he worked primarily in Swansea, South Wales, and Shrewsbury, England, while also gaining valuable experience at Manchester Children’s Hospital.

His work in the UK exposed him to a wide range of pediatric conditions and advanced healthcare practices, strengthening his expertise in both acute and chronic childhood illnesses. In 2009, Dr. Askar relocated to Oman, where he has continued to provide high-quality pediatric care to children and adolescents.

Over the course of his career, he has successfully managed a broad spectrum of pediatric health concerns, from common childhood infections and developmental issues to complex long-term medical conditions. His approach combines clinical excellence with a strong emphasis on communication, education, and family involvement in healthcare decisions.

I am happy to care for infants, children, and teenagers up to the age of 16, managing both acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
