Biography
Dr Sumaya Al Araimi is a Senior Consultant with expertise in all aspect of Paediatric Pulmonology & Respiratory Allergy and Rare Lung Disease. She was head of Paediatric Respiratory department in Royal Hospital. Dr. Sumaya is a competent pediatrician’s in many areas of general pediatrics and specialized in pediatric pulmonology. She got extensive experience in diagnostic bronchoscopy and skin test as screening for Respiratory allergies . Dr.Sumaya got great interest and experience in term of management and research in Cystic fibrosis in Oman.

- Dr.Sumaya has been an active doctor obtaining her MD,MRCPCH,DCH and AFSA (France )
- She obtained her fellowship in Pediatrics Respiratory and Allergy from Claude Bernard Lyon 1 Univesity (France )
- Diploma in Respiratory Allergy from Lyon 1 Univesity .
- She has participated and presented in many national ,regional and international conferences in the field of Paediatric Respiratory.
- She is a board member in Oman Respiratory society and Cystic Fibrosis club .
- She is vice president of Oman paediatric society. She used to be in board member (scientific, research, examination committees)in paediatric OMSB in Oman .
