Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Nasir Al Ani

Dr. Ahmad is a Specialist Clinical Radiologist with more than 25 years of experience in diagnostic imaging. His reporting practice spans computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, mammography and conventional radiography.

He received his primary medical degree (MBChB) in 1991 and went on to obtain the Iraqi Board in Clinical Radiology (FICMS). He has practised in Iraq and Yemen before moving to Oman.

Dr. Ahmad has extensive experience across both emergency and elective imaging. His particular expertise is in computed tomography, including CT pulmonary angiography and abdominal, renal and peripheral limb CT angiography. He also reports across MRI, ultrasound and mammography.

He has attended a number of international conferences over the course of his career. As a native Arabic speaker who also works in English, he allows patients to discuss their imaging in whichever of the two languages they are most comfortable with — something that matters particularly when explaining a scan or a procedure.
