Dr. Ayman Helmy ElSharawy

Dr. Ayman is a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with 35 years of experience, specializing in trauma and fracture care, lower limb joint replacement, and pelvic and acetabular injuries. He provides comprehensive orthopaedic care spanning trauma, sports injuries, and joint reconstruction for patients of all ages.

Dr. Ayman holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) and a Master's degree in Orthopaedic Surgery (MS), and earned his Doctorate (MD) in Orthopaedic Surgery from Geneva, Switzerland. He is a Faculty member and lecturer of the AO Organization (AO Foundation), one of the world's leading international organizations for fracture and trauma care education.

His clinical practice covers the full range of orthopaedic trauma and reconstructive surgery, including all types of fractures, sports injuries, pelvis and acetabulum injuries, foot and ankle deformities, and knee and hip arthritis. He performs total knee and total hip replacement, fixation of all types of fractures including pelvic and acetabular fractures, corrective surgery for foot and ankle deformities, and hand conditions such as ganglion cysts and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Dr. Ayman is a member of the Oman Orthopedic Association, the Egyptian Orthopedic Association, and the Swiss Orthopedic Association, and serves as faculty for the AO Organization. He has been recognized with the Best Researcher Award from the International Federation of Sports Medicine (FIMS) and has received recognition from the Oman Orthopedic Association, alongside numerous publications in scientific journals.
