About Dr. Tasleem

Dr. Tasleem is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with more than 30 years of international clinical experience, including 26 years of service at Khoula Hospital — a premier tertiary care institution under the Ministry of Health in Oman.

During her years at Khoula Hospital she managed a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological cases and performed a large number of normal deliveries, Caesarean sections and gynaecological procedures. She also carried consultant-grade responsibilities and contributed extensively to specialised obstetric and gynaecological care.

Dr. Tasleem offers comprehensive women’s healthcare across every stage of life. Her particular areas of expertise are high-risk pregnancy management, medical disorders complicating pregnancy such as diabetes and hypertension, infertility treatment, recurrent miscarriage care, antenatal monitoring, gynaecological ultrasound, menopause management and cervical cancer screening. She also provides premarital, pre-pregnancy, postnatal and breastfeeding counselling, and performs a range of outpatient office procedures.

She holds an MBBS and the M.C.P.S. from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, together with Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Alongside her clinical work she has been active in academic teaching — instructing sixth-year medical students from Sultan Qaboos University and serving as a postgraduate teacher for the Oman Medical Specialty Board — and has contributed to multinational research projects and clinical audit.

Dr. Tasleem has been recognised for both professional excellence and community service. She received a Best Doctor award during her service at Khoula Hospital, and was honoured by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman for her services to the Pakistani and Omani communities. She consults in Arabic and English.
